These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Zenith Nexus ("we", "us"), the operator of the Keystone application and website ("Keystone", the "Service"), governing your use of the Service. By creating an account, checking the acceptance box at sign-up or on the acceptance screen, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We record the version of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, together with the time of acceptance.
Keystone is a campaign content-management tool for tabletop role-playing games. It lets you browse rules reference content, author custom ("homebrew") content, manage campaigns with other users, and track in-game inventories, stores, and economies. The Service manages fictional, in-game currencies and items only; it is not a marketplace and no real-world goods, currencies, or payments between players are involved.
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use an account. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Campaigns (team workspaces) have roles and permissions; inviting someone to a campaign gives them access to that campaign's shared content according to their role.
Parts of the Service are free; other features may require a paid subscription. Prices and included features are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider — we do not store your full payment card details. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice effective from your next billing period.
You retain ownership of content you create in the Service (including homebrew items, characters, stores, and campaign data) ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including showing it to campaign members you share it with. You are responsible for your User Content and must have the rights needed to post it.
The Service includes material from the System Reference Document 5.1 by Wizards of the Coast LLC, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. See our Licenses & Attribution page for the required attribution. Keystone is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the right to use it as intended.
The Service relies on third-party providers, such as hosting and database infrastructure, sign-in providers (for example Google), and payment processors. Their terms may apply to their services; we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where practicable). Upon account deletion your personal data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep your own copies of content that matters to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your User Content or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will publish a new version with a new effective date and ask you to accept it before continuing to use the Service. The version you accepted is recorded on your account.
The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for users located in the United States. We do not target or market the Service to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws. Except where a law applicable to you grants rights that cannot be waived, our privacy commitments are those described in our Privacy Policy.
Before starting any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@keystone.nexus and describe the problem, and to give us 60 days to resolve it. Most issues can be settled this way. This step must be completed before either of us files a claim, except where immediate court action is needed to protect a legal right (for example, to stop misuse of intellectual property).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Brown County, Wisconsin have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your country of residence.
